OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

"To preach the Word of God and to bring people into membership of God's family; to teach the Word of God to enhance freedom, promote Christian maturity and bind the people to God for service, And to live the word of God to demonstrate the new life in Christ to the World, and ensure the security of the believer"

OUR CORE VALUES

Outreach: To communicate God’s word and bring people into the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matt.28:18-20; Mk.16:15).
Worship: To live in the light of God’s presence and to celebrate God’s presence in singing, praying, giving, hearing and sharing the Word of God together as believers (John 4:23-24; 1Cor.14:26).
Fellowship: To care for one another as a member of the family of God (Eph.2:19; Eph.6:2,3,10; James 5:16).
Discipleship: To educate God’s people to know their positions and privileges in God and thereby grow into maturity/perfection (Eph.3:11-16).
Service: To demonstrate God’s love by serving others (Rom.12:6-8; Gal.5:13).

Our Aim & Mission

The G F M Ireland Ministries headed by Pastor John O. Fasan has a God given mandate to bring the message of hope and holiness to all nations of the world. We intend to reach the lost, disciple the people, see them restored back to God and minister to their needs around the world. It is our intention to reach every home, nation, town and city with this message of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ and our weekly telecast is helping us in no small measure to achieving this vision.

Our aim is to build men and women through sound biblical teachings and godly principles for living who are not conformed to the pattern of this world but a people who fear God and have a Godly conscience who will function in every area of life in a way that glorifies God so as to affect the nations positively and transform lives.

Our History

GFM Ireland a.k.a The Overcomers started in September 1999 when Pastor John O. Fasan and five members started a prayer meeting in the sitting room of their rented home at 8 Castle Riada Drive in Lucan. This small but humble beginning is proof that any church whose foundation is built from scratch on faith, prayer, patience, perseverance and hard work is destined for the top. Today after seven years the congregation has grown from just five members to hundreds of members from different racial, social and cultural background through the grace of God and commitment of the strong leadership of the church.

Leadership

The leadership of GFM Ireland made up of other ministers and leaders is headed by Pastor John O. Fasan whose passion for God, humble spirit and leadership qualities are not in doubt.

Our Beliefs

The Holy Scriptures.

We believe the Holy Scriptures of both the Old and New Testament to be the inspired word of God. The scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and therefore the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Bible are the complete and divine revelation of God to man. (2 Timothy 23:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21).

The Person and Work of Jesus Christ.

We believe that God is the father of our Lord Jesus Christ and that He is the one and only true God. He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, He has always existed and He is ever active in the universe. We believe Jesus Christ to be the only begotten son of God, truly God, truly man and born of a virgin mother and lived a sinless life. We believe He died on the cross for the sin of mankind. He rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God. (Psalm 90:2, Matthew 1:23, John 1:14, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
